The team is seeking highly enthusiastic, creative, analytical and detail-oriented individuals to drive awareness, engagement, and conversation through community development initiatives. The position will utilize user engagement techniques, on demand educational content and social media strategies to contribute to overall user acquisition, virility and net promoter scores.

To be successful in this role, you must have proven success in community management along with an active profile in large gaming communities & networks (such as Reddit, Steam, XBL, PSN, etc.). The ideal candidate would have proficiency and prowess in the following aspects:

  • Recognition in gaming forums and groups.
  • Experience with online gaming, beta programs and developer outreach.
  • Recurring social interactions with influencers and gaming personalities (Youtube, Twitch, Twitter, etc.).
  • Having published high quality editorial content (video or text) is a huge plus.
  • An in-depth understanding of social networking, network effects, and word of mouth marketing. You must have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment to make smart and efficient decisions.
Core Responsibilities & Duties:
  • Monitor and support community sign-ups and adoption to ensure users have a delightful experience and obtain maximum value.
  • Track and analyze key metrics to ensure active community growth, participation and consumption of available applications and services.
  • Stay current with community marketing trends and brainstorm new ideas for user acquisition and up-sell campaigns.
  • Take part in product development and improvement by communicating community feedback to product teams.
  • Drive development and execution of campaigns in collaboration with in-house creative department and developers.
  • Manage all community related content from conceptualization to implementation and reporting in collaboration with in-house content development department.
  • Strengthen the brand and engage community on various forums and social media by producing creative and compelling content for all channels.
  • Monitor and whenever/wherever necessary perform day-to-day execution of campaigns and strategies.
  • Act as the voice of our brand responding to an engaging with the community.
Total Work Experience:
  • 1+ years relevant experience in managing social media communities (Online Gaming communities and other like steam) with a nuanced understanding of how to craft messaging and branding for word of mouth promotion.
Skills:
  • Highly active on social media with personal handles, a published blog and vocal engagement in trending technologies
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, with very strong attention to detail and adeptness at applying both technical and creative writing styles
  • Team oriented – ability to motivate and work well within a matrix organization with diverse stakeholder relationships and cross-functional teams
  • Understanding of popular social networks – design, functionality, users – and proficiency in social listening tools
  • Must be very good in gaming communities. Like have joined different gaming groups (preferably close) on FB and also have good knowledge and working experience of Reddit.
  • Must have knowledge about digital marketing and techniques like SEO, email marketing etc.
  • Must be a gamer (preferably LoL, WoW or Dota2) and also have a strong gaming profile.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and process skills to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Open-minded and innovative people person with a passion for telling others’ stories
  • Networking or Technical professional background
  • Experience in early stage start-ups
  • History of participation in popular Online Communities other than Facebook and Twitter.
