Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Head of Department, the position shall be responsible to ensure compliance of organization’s policies & procedures, excellent & productive teamwork, performance-based assessments, oversight and setting and delivery of annual departmental targets. The incumbent will carry out strategic & operational planning, management of staff, contracts & budgets for a number of programs, projects and components. Heshe will develop and manage MoU’s & ToR’s, relationship management for third party assessments, partnerships with academic institutions and consultants for specific research and assessment of projects. The person should be able to prepare annualquarterly work plan of the unit and ensure compliance with the work plan. The incumbent will be responsible to provide guidelines for evaluation, research and development to partner organizations, and, wherever required and feasible, providing advice to them for meeting these guidelines. The incumbent will appraise prospective partner organizations with respect to reporting and management information system.
Incumbents Profile:
· Master’s degree in International Development, Economics or related field from a recognized institution.
· 10 or more years of relevant experience in a large scale foreign donor-funded development projects.
· Aptitude to perform under pressure and be able to meet deadlines.
· Team player with collaborative management style.
· Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
· Strong analytical skills.
· Willingness to travel to remote areas of Pakistan.
English fluency is a must.
· Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation applications
