- Prevent human injury,
- Minimize property damage and interruption of normal business due to fire and smoke as well as from fire suppression actions such as the release of water or dry chemical agents,
- Provide education and training activities;
- Building inspections;
- Maintenance of operational fire detection and suppression systems;
- Building evacuation activities.
