As an Associate CAD Library Engineer, you will participate in the definition and creation of component symbols while contributing to all phases of product design by developing and maintain CAD symbols and footprints using a variety of popular CAD tools and by tracking and making changes as necessary to the library. You will also develop 3D library in Solidworks. Job Description: - To prepare new Bill Of Materials by adding extra columns for footprint name and using separate comments columns to state the symbol creation source and issue details
- To create the schematic symbols, Allegro footprints and 3D modeling of the components by looking at the data sheet for specific project according to customer requirements.
- To import/make board outline according to the provided mechanical design guideline and add all keepouts like package keeping, package/route/via keepouts, etc following the provided mechanical design guideline.
- To implement the height restriction; edge components and mounting holes placement according to the provided mechanical design guideline
- To implement milling details, penalization, rail areas as per customers request
- To add board outline dimensions, edge components dimensions, keepout dimensions and mounting/tooling holes dimensions
- To Develop 3D library in Solidworks
- Run Thermal analysis of PCB boards.
Job Requirements: - Know how of CAD tools & 3D design software Solid works will be preferred.
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Ability to browse Internet efficiently
- Must be motivated and self starter
- Must be willing to make long term commitment with the company
