SYSTEM DESIGN ENGINEER This position will design, develop, test, improve and document System Designs. Evaluate system functionality to ensure its successful integration. Job Description - To review new projects, specification document, AVL (approved vendor list), other customer standards/requirements while designing the board.
- To search the sites of manufacturers and vendors to find and download required datasheets by matching part specifications and part numbers.
- To develop Schematic Symbols of parts in live projects according to specified standards
- To Verify and cross check schematic symbols to look for discrepancies by technical verification of symbols as per datasheet and visibility verification of symbols as per GES standards.
- Designing clock schemes, power supplies, high speed interfaces and miscellaneous circuits and drafting the schematics.
- To generate Netlist and resolve Netlist issues after extracting files from PCB design for LDS and CAD Department and perform troubleshooting of errors in Netlist.
Job Requirement - Candidate should have gone through the basic hardware design training.
- Candidate should have worked on the following all or some hardware design projects
o FPGA based designs o Networking interfaces o High-Speed Memory Interfaces o Good understanding of clocks, and high-frequency designs. o Some Lab power-up and bring-up experience- Great verbal and written English communication skills
- Able to work under stress/pressure
- Strong computer skills
- Microchip PIC microprocessors and development tools experience is a plus
- Knowledge of chip validation and debug is desirable
