Job Description:
Responsible for repairs, maintenance of textile machinery (weaving) and utility services including boilers and chillers.
The individual must also ensure the smooth operation of all machines and equipments and managing troubleshooting.
Confer with management and other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical information.
Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.
Research, design, evaluate, install, operate, and maintain mechanical products (textile related), equipment, systems and processes to meet requirements, applying knowledge of engineering principles.
Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation, and to make recommendations to maintenance staff.
Designing and implementing cost-effective equipment modifications to help improve safety, and reliability.
Making sure a product can be made again reliably and will perform consistently in specified operating environments;
Knowledge of TPM will be an added advantage.
