JOB PURPOSE: The incumbent would be responsible for community mobilization of project beneficiaries under District Base Farmer Field School (FFS) in Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Muzaffargarh and Rajanpur.

Main Responsibilities & Tasks:

  • Selection and registration of potential beneficiaries.
  • Establish initial contact with project beneficiaries for introduction of project.
  • Collect necessary baseline information about the target community.
  • Responsible for the formation of the groups.
  • Provide beneficiary data to the Data Base Officer on routine basis for smooth data base management system.
  • Develop and follow monthly and weekly plans in accordance with Detail Implementation Plan.
  • Mobilize the potential beneficiaries to participate in all days of training.
  • Identify potential leaders / contact persons within the target community.
  • Identify the success stories and report to concerned department.
  • Motivate, ensure and advocate potential community leaders to promote the project in their community
  • Ensure timely support to the field staff, trainers and master trainers for smooth running of project activities.
  • Conduct initial surveys as and when required or asked by supervisor.
  • Liaison with relevant project stake holders.
  • Develop and maintain the necessary documentation and record of all project activities.
  • Deal with the community as a frontline contact and provide full support to the field and admin staff.
  • Maintain and update all record at project office level.
  • Assist community members to analyze their problems and guide for resource mobilization.
  • Any other task assigned by the supervisor

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Graduate/Masters degree preferable.
  • At least 3 year of relevant experience in community mobilization.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible and ability to work under pressure.
  • Command on MS office.
  • Skills in reading, writing and speaking Urdu, Punjabi and Saraiki.
