JOB PURPOSE: Program Officer ECD&E is overall responsible to plan and execute the Early Childhood Development & Education Program under the umbrella of Hashoo Foundation. He /She ensure the quality of training programs including the implementation, evaluation and further development & growth. Handle technical / professional matters related to the assigned program.
Major Responsibilities
- Responsible to manage trainings under ECD&E program.
- Assist in developing and implementation of policies and procedures of ECD&E program.
- Prepare annual budget and projection for ECD&E program and monitor the fund flow.
- Develop monthly, quarterly and yearly plans to manage the overall operations of ECD&E program.
- Plan and implement strategies to achieve the program objectives.
- To take initiatives to develop and update the ECD&E curriculum.
- To develop networking with potential school heads and ECD&E facilitators for on-job-training and evaluation of trainees.
- To conduct sessions on need basis in ECD&E program.
- Undertake training monitoring & evaluation through regular feedback from stakeholders.
- To plan, design and conduct various teacher training sessions, workshops and camps for HF teachers on need bases.
- Coordinate with marketing and admission sections to enroll trainees and start training on time.
- Extend technical guidance & supervision to HF schools staff.
- Update ECD&E data in HF-MIS on regular basis.
- Any other task assign by supervisor.
Required Competencies:
- Master’s in Education / EPM and Specialization in ECD / M Sc. Psychology/ Specialization in human development / Diploma in ECD.
- At least 01 year of relevant experience in NGO sector.
- Well-developed interpersonal and team skills and proven ability to be flexible in demanding situations.
- Experience of management/supervisory responsibilities. Result-oriented team player and leader.
- Good written and spoken English is essential.
- Competent IT skills.
- Excellent Public speaking and Communication skills.
- Able to work independently and meet the programmatic and financial targets.
