Job Description:
JOB PURPOSE: The incumbent would be responsible to plan and carry out all activities related to Skills Training and Income Generation Project for Urban Afghan Refugees residing in Rawalpindi/ Islamabad and Peshawar.

Main Responsibilities & Tasks:
  • Provide direction and support to project team to adhere all quality standards during the project implementation and manage the training and placement team as to adherence of Project activities.
  • To manage and conduct training orientation sessions and develop its materials including training schedule and work plan.
  • Monitor and manage the training & placement staff to produce maximum results.
  • Ensure the proper implementation of the policies, procedures and standards for skill trainings and placement of trainees; as per grant agreement and HF policies.
  • Conduct meetings with training and placement staff, develop action plans, manage follow ups of training and placement and disseminate/share information with the project manager and other officials at core office; where required.
  • Ensure development of daily, weekly and monthly work plans and curriculum/course content break-up of each trade.
  • Planning, managing, implementing & monitoring of different skills trainings and coordinate with the trainers.
  • Develop questionnaires/forms and format for regular data collection for both components i.e. training and placement; aimed at efficient monitoring and effective implementation of the project.
  • Manage data entry into the MIS and analyze results using relevant computer software such SPSS, MS Access, MS Excel etc.
  • Maintain/update office files & necessary resource material and documentation following HF established standard procedures
  • Assure timely reporting (weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual � both qualitative & quantitative & need based)
  • Facilitate monitoring, evaluation & research
Professional Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience of working with NGOs/Research Institutions in the related field
  • Excellent Computer Skills (MS Office) as well as knowledge of SPSS/MS Project, etc
  • Excellent report writing and presentation skills are a must.
  • Pashto speaking candidate will be given preference.
  • Result-oriented team player and leader
  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills required.
  • Sound judgment, flexibility, adaptability and cultural & gender sensitivity.
Qualification Requirements:
  • Masters in Social Science, Management sciences or related discipline from a recognized university.
