Position Summary: As an ASP.NET Web developer, the candidate will be developing web applications for HF. This position relies on a balanced skillset including technical capability (analysis, development, coding, troubleshooting, and administration) and functional capabilities (documentation, technical support, and staff training). Experience with handson programming, database design and reporting, and implementation of business logic are critical to the success of this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and integrate ASP.net web applications with databases using ADO.net, Language-Integrated Query (LINQ) and related development tools for HF staff working across Pakistan.
- Participate in software development lifecycle - analysis, design, implementation, and testing.
- Practical experience of working with ASP.net, VB.net, SQL Server and JavaScript.
- Ensures continuing operational quality by documenting report fixes and enhancements, testing and releasing new updates.
- Build and maintain web sites operating on Microsoft Internet Information Server platform, installations and maintenance.
- 03 years (minimum) practical experience.
- Qualification must be BS(CS) / Software Engineering
- Working knowledge of ASP.NET AJAX, ASP.NET MVC Framework, ASP.net and ASP.Net Web API, Win-Forms, Silverlight.
- Practical working knowledge of database and SQL skills (SQL Server 2008/2012).
- Design and deliver web services through WCF and Microsoft Silverlight.
- Understanding of web site security and implementation of web-application using Windows 2008 -2012, Active Directory and Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS).
- Ability to apply HTML, JavaScript, and CSS knowledge to create attractive user interfaces. (Although this is not a design position, but it’s important to be able to produce a visually appealing product).
- The candidate must have in-depth understanding of the software development lifecycle and be able to participate in any stage including analysis, design, implementation, testing and high-level support.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team. Aptitude of taking ownership of projects and focused on delivering quality solutions within deadline.
- Candidate must be able to demonstrate tangible results within first 03 months of probation and assessment.
