Founded in 1958, Hico Ice Cream is Pakistan’s first ice cream company. We strive to produce the best tasting ice cream in the country. Hico is a subsidiary of Pakistan Fruit Juice Company. Other subsidiaries include RC Cola, Flora Fruit Juices, and Flora Rice.
What you can expect
As Production Incharge, you will be involved with the planning, coordination and control of our manufacturing processes. You will make sure our ice cream is produced efficiently and that the correct amount is produced at the right cost and level of quality.
Responsibilities
Oversee ice cream production operations
Maintain and update key performance indicators and regularly review with the production team
Conduct routine inspections of the production floor to ensure quality control standards and efficient operations
Plan and organize monthly, weekly, and daily production schedules, working closely with the sales team
Streamline the production process, minimizing waste and maximizing output
Ensure that food safety standards & guidelines are strictly followed
Supervise, motivate, and train a team of workers and regularly review performance
Supervise the repairs, routine & preventive maintenance of plant and machinery
Research and develop new products
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree
Experience with production management including production planning (individuals that have experience with ice cream or dairy industry are preferred)
Knowledge of operating Microsoft Excel
- Willingness to learn and work hard
