Job Description:

 

HiQuSystems headquartered in New York City, is looking for Software Support Analysts for its office in Islamabad.

Work Hours (US TIME ZONE): 9:00 AM EST – 5:00 PM EST

 

Responsibilities:

§  Handle email and phone support incidents, document incidents in the support system

§  Conduct initial troubleshooting and turn around the solution to the client, using tools like SQL Profile, etc.

§  Coordinate with in-house developers, in some cases with offshore team, for  a timely resolution

§  Follow-up with clients on status updates for pending items

§  Troubleshoot application and system level issues

§  Be responsible for updating  knowledge base

§  Resolve and escalate reported issues to ensure customer satisfaction

 
Skills Required:
 
4-year Bachelor Degree in Computer Sciences or related disciplines from a recognized institution.

Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)

3+ years QA or Support experience

Working experience with IIS/.NET and MS SQL Server platform

Programming experience with T-SQL, ability to read SQL code and be able to write queries to troubleshoot issues

Self motivated

Proactive, can do attitude

Experience with accounting application or knowledge of accounting principles is a plus

Crystal reports development experience is a big plus

Technical writing experience is a big plus
