We are looking to leverage a sharp, passionate & experienced Software Engineer to help us shape our vision. As a Software Engineer, you’ll work as part of a multidisciplinary team of engineers delivering best-in-class software for our customers to use on all their devices. With strong programming skills in Java and solid commercial experience developing software, you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with product owners and designers on feature development. You will work independently and under the direction of more senior IT architects and lead teams while contributing to multi-layered solution architectures that comprehend and specify business, application, data and infrastructure designs.
Responsibilities
- Strong analytical thinker who knows how to pick the right tool for the right job
- Collaborate around the creation of new and existing product features
- Implement attractive user interfaces
- Build, design, and debug software systems using Java, Android. Knowledge of iOS will be a plus
- Work with the Quality Assurance Team to make software development smooth and workable
- Continually offer thought-leadership and dependable execution ability in a high-paced environment characterized by ongoing iteration and product pushes
- Update the work plan on daily basis with both planned and unplanned activities
- Meeting the deadlines as indicated in the work plan
- Comply with the coding standards
- Responsible to conduct unit testing and implement QC standards before handing the project to the QC team within the Product
- Provide input to the project plan in terms of time estimates required for development related activities
- Work with Project Manager / Senior Software Engineer to plan program code enhancements and changes
- Occasionally work with QC team to clarify the intent of new features and resolve problems
