Sister Company HNL SSJD Group (owners of Al-Abbas and HUM Network Limited) are focused on providing energy to Pakistan and helping the country come out of the current power crisis. SSJD aims to generate power from indigenous fuel and renewable resources and remove dependency on foreign fuel resources. Our target is to provide 1000MW of energy by the year 2017. In the coming years we plan to build multiple small green power plants from biomass and other renewable resources, and large indigenous fossil fuel power plants. - Develop tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information to the CEO and make actionable recommendations on both strategy and operations.
- Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems, ensuring compliance with appropriate Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, regulatory requirements, and Office of Management and Budget audit requirements.
- Maintain internal control safeguards and coordinate all audit activities.
- Manage cash flow and forecasting.
- Optimize the handling of banking and other financial relationships with financiers, partners and stakeholders and initiate appropriate strategies to enhance cash positions.
- Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans through a project management approach
- Develop financial and tax strategies
- Participate in key decisions as a member of the management team
- Manage the accounting, human resources, investor relations, legal, tax, and treasury departments
- Manage any third parties to which functions have been outsourced
- Implement operational best practices
- Handle day to day operational activities in CEOs absence.
