Job Description

  1. A leadership role primarily responsible to drive HR operations ensuring functional efficiency and effectiveness

  2. Identifies staffing needs in coordination with functional heads and relevant managers

  3. Develops and reviews recruitment strategies and plans to ensure timely and consistent induction of quality human resources

  4. Conducts or facilitates in conducting executive recruitment

  5. Reviews and improves selection procedures to enhance the quality of screening and is also involved in conducting HR interviews for professional positions

  6. Facilitates in administering and driving organization wide performance management and succession planning processes

  7. Establishes and improves HR processes with the aim of enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the overall HR operations

  8. Works closely with Director HR in devising, establishing and maintaining an HR service delivery model capitalizing on automation and self-service

  9. Facilitates in evaluating, acquiring and implementing HR tools, systems, products and services

  10. Devises systems and procedures that proactively assess HR compliance and adherence to policies and organizational processes

  11. Initiates and drive programs in consultation with the Director HR and other key stakeholders, aimed at enhancing organizational effectiveness

  12. Strives to develop and maintain a healthy team and service culture that fosters excellence, collaboration and teamwork

  13. Facilitates in the establishment and execution of a talent management strategy that enhances workplace productivity by improving and integrating HR processes related to attracting, integrating, developing, rewarding, retaining and utilizing people

  14. Serves as an internal consultant for people issues, guiding and facilitating managers, supervisors and other individuals in effectively dealing with such issues

  15. Periodically conducts HR surveys, including employee satisfaction surveys to obtain systematic feedback from people on organizational policies, practices and initiatives etc.

  16. Submits periodical reports to Director HR that provide visibility into the overall HR operations, tasks and initiatives

  17. Periodically analyzes and reports the operational performance of Human Resources using objective data, including quantitative metrics across all key HR functions

  18. Facilitates in organizational change initiatives, helping managers and other stakeholders in minimizing resistance and enhancing readiness for change

  19. Serves as a mentor for HR team members and continuously drives to develop.

 
Skills Required:
 
Competencies
1.Proven record of successfully delivering in a similar capacity. Prior experience of transforming HR would be considered a plus
2.Excellent communication skills
3.Excellent leadership and change management skills
4.An appetite to solve problems
5.Comprehensive knowledge of HRM and allied disciplines
6.Strong awareness of current trends, issues, tools and approaches to people management
7.Good computing and data analysis skills
