Job Summary Lead the Security function to ensure that the organization's current and future security requirements are met efficiently. Developing a security conscious culture within the hospital, utilizing technological and human resources alike as deterrent against patient management related incidences & other damaging incidents such as theft. Planning contingencies in emergencies and volatile political situations. Facilitating Staff and Visitors when approached. Main Responsibilities: Develop and contribute to planning security functional strategy that is consistent with the Departmental & Divisional objectives. Ensure teams performance and activities are monitored on regular basis and identify non compliance. Ensure the compliance of patient visiting hours and attendants� stay, according to the visiting policy, by developing effective security checks and patrolling protocols. To develop and maintain a mechanism of recording, facilitating corporate and other visitors and restricting the unwanted visitors. To assist administrator in utilizing the maximum benefits of CCTV monitoring system by - Developing,implementing and controlling a visual audit mechanism.
- Developing post incidents audit system.
- Maintaining an updated and vigilant CCTV monitoring system.
To develop and implement the parking policy and protocols ensuring a secure parking area inside and outside the hospital with smooth flow of vehicles by establishing access controls that include unique vehicle identification and emergency access procedures. Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop a team of paraprofessionals of security to ensure that security related activities are completed on time, according to established standards, a Ensure proper monitoring and execution in case of emergency or evacuation situation across all the organizations locations as and when required. To assist HOD to undertake threat assessment for all facilities by helping in advice the company management proactively and in the event of violence, demonstrations or any prevailing law and order situation in the country as a security advisor. To ensure that all related documentation is complete as per divisional & departmental policies and procedures and records are properly maintained for audit purpose. Parking and Vehicle Management: To develop and implement the parking policy and protocols ensuring a secure parking area inside and outside the hospital with smooth flow of vehicles by establishing access controls that include unique vehicle identification and emergency access procedures. Lost and Found: Maintain all lost and found records. Liaison with Law Enforcement Agencies: Liaison with police and other law enforcement agencies in order to have legal support in security matters. Ensure effective and efficient smooth functioning of Security departments.
