|
The Manager Finance must assume custodianship of the Finance department in entirety and develop strategies, perform data-analysis etc. as a basis to evolve strategies on profit-maximization and achievement of long-term financial goals of the firm. The individual must have extensive, specialized knowledge and capability to handle all financial related matters in the organization including overseeing the preparation of financial reports, direct investment activities, risk assessment, implementation of cash management strategies and management of the overall corporate accounts portfolio.
Specific responsibilities include:
Planning, directing and administering the firm?s core finance activities under supervisory direction of the CEO. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: - Oversee the investment of funds, manage associated risks.
- Supervise cash management activities.
- Execute capital-raising strategies to support the firm's expansion, and deal with mergers and acquisitions.
- Monitor and control the flow of cash receipts and disbursements to meet the business and investment needs of their firm, on a daily basis.
- Assist in preparing annual strategy for the department
- Advise on ways and strategies to reduce risks and maximize profit- Risk Management.
- Report to the CEO / Principal, on activities occurring since the last meeting, the annual/semi-annual budget and proposed use of profits for the fiscal year.
- Preparing financial reports, such as income statements, balance sheets, and analyses of future earnings or expenses, that summarize and forecast the organization's financial position.
- In charge of preparing special reports required by regulatory authorities. (Accounting, Audit, and budget related).
- Organizing & conducting meetings with internal and external stakeholders
- Reappraising & reviewing firms financial related historical data and suggesting improvements and revisions in systems & procedures, thereafter, implementing approved systems
- Efficiently managing a team for the collective implementation & coordination of financial activities
- Traveling to branch offices to further the firms objectives and goals and conducting meetings with stakeholders
- Conducting other related tasks as assigned from time to time
