| Job Description: |
|
A competent, responsible and professional individual with strong IT skills who can serve as a support function in the implementation of the company's IT policies and standard operating procedures, while performing day to day tasks relating to the IT function.
Major Responsibilities include:
- Handling of all company related IT queries with instant feedback and being able to represent the company's profile diligently within the job function
- Administration and maintenance of Windows active directory, 2003 server
- Installation and configuration of Wireless networks
- Maintain and manage Company's website in terms of Updating.
- Communicating timely updates to supervisor(s), generating required IT reports and status updates, and maintaining proper documentation of systems such as databases and inventory of equipment
- Daily reporting, performing daily checklists, conducting back-ups etc.
- Implementation of IT policies and ensuring that IT standard operating procedures are complied with and cascaded down to team members and staff
- Coordinating with vendors/suppliers & maintaining total confidentiality of tasks, as assigned
- Carrying out any other IT related tasks arising from time, and adding value by making recommendations towards enhancement of systems, wherever applicable
- Troubleshooting of Internet connectivity, Linux servers, down times, server management and maintenance along with resolving hardware issues etc.
- Ensuring that all the IT equipment, hardware and software, are maintained in good working condition at all times
