An Australia based development company has a requirement for a senior level Web Graphic Designer/ Developer with proven experience and an online portfolio of websites.
You are an enthusiastic person who can create and code web pages, using both non-technical and technical skills to produce websites that fit the customer’s requirements.
You are currently working in an IT Services firm as a full time employee designing and developing websites for international clients and developed complete web layouts and templates, banner ads, presentations etc.
Requirements:
· Must have previously worked in an IT services firm as a full time employee and have developed complete web sites, including web layouts and templates, banner ads, presentations etc.
· Must have an online portfolio. CVs without any sample URLs will NOT be considered
· Command over verbal and written communication skills in English are required to communicate with foreign clients to understand their requirements and present your work and ideas to them.
· Web Development Requirements:
o Experienced in Responsive Websites designing
o Drawing up detailed website specifications;
o Designing sample page layouts including text size and colors
Main responsibilities
· Creating Wordpress websites from scratch
· Customizing Wordpress themes & plugins
· Convert HTML/PSD to wordpress theme
· Creating graphics like Logos, Buttons, Banners and as per website requirements.
· Designing the website's visual imagery and ensuring it is in line with company branding policy or the requirements
· Customer Service
o Online meetings with clients to identify their needs and liaising regularly with them;
o Understanding Client Requirements.
o Suggesting an efficient solution as per the requirements.
o Frameout the timeline for the development / implementation
o Presenting initial design ideas to client
o Handing the completed website over to the client;
o Post-sales technical support
· Web Designing:
o Drawing up detailed website specifications;
o Designing sample page layouts including fonts, text size and colours;
o Designing graphics, animations and manipulating digital photographs;
o Registering web domain names and organizing the hosting of the website;
· Web Development
o Coding using a variety of software;
o Working with different content management systems;
o Understanding of Search engine optimization;
o Meeting relevant legal requirements such as accessibility standards, freedom of information and privacy;
o Proof-reading content and grammar and making changes where necessary;
o Editing content, debugging code and re-designing web pages;
o Able to work on multiple projects
o Timely completion of websites with very high quality and attention to details
o Run quality checks before delivering the code to client.
Your Application will be preferred if you have hands-on experience of designing and customization of websites on the following platforms:

· Joomla( Theme and Plugin customisation )
· Magento( Theme and Plugin Development )
· OpenCart( Theme and Plugin Development )
· Responsive XHTML / CSS
· Working on websites
· Designing logos
· Website editing
· Creating Application Mockups, and Website Layouts
· Creating visual content for social media campaigns, banners, posts, mobile applications etc.
