Job Description:
IHS is looking for a Quality Assurance officer to support the work of the product development team. Our Java programmers develop open source software geared towards collecting, organizing, and analyzing health information and other data in a resource efficient and widely applicable manner primarily using mobile devices. The QA officer will be expected to establish QA processes/implement a framework for software testing to ensure only quality products are delivered to clients.
Working closely with business partners and developers at the beginning of projects is required to develop comprehensive test plans during the early phases of development. He or she will need to design test plans, develop and execute test cases, plans and procedures and support the continuous improvement process for software testing.
Eventually, the QA officer is expected to build, lead and mentor a team of software testers.

· Leadership skills and the ability to take initiative
· Should be able to think from a bird's eye perspective
· Good writing and oral communication skills, including knowing how to disagree politely.
· Must not be a loner. If you think you work best alone, then you are probably not right for this position.
· Should be able to multi-task.
· Should have a can-do attitude.
· Should be fluent in English and Urdu. Other languages are a plus
