Job Description:

Based at the district level, this staff member is responsible for implementing daily monitoring and accountability tasks in line with agreed standards and criteria. The role also provides support to the program teams with their data management systems.

  • In collaboration with program teams, receive beneficiary feedback and complaints, investigating and resolving or referring them according to guidelines. Maintain appropriate and adequate tracking systems.
  • Support program teams to track project inputs, outputs, progress, outcomes and beneficiary numbers using standardized formats and systems.
  • Assist with the development of appropriate formats, tools and systems for monitoring and evaluating programs, assuring quality and managing data according to internal and international standards
  • In collaboration with the Deputy M&E Coordinator and program teams, carry out regular participatory project monitoring (including verification of contractors work) according to agreed systems, procedures and standards.
  • Support program teams to establish and maintain data storage and dissemination systems.
  • Assist in the design, implementation and analysis of data and information for assessments, surveys and evaluations as required by the M&E unit and the program teams.
  • Support the collection, input and analysis of data and information for assessments, surveys and evaluations as required by the M&E unit and the program teams.
  • On request, collect and disseminate information for program management, communications and other IRC departments, including case studies and donor report information.
  • Maintain proper filing system of monitoring and data related documents.

Carry out other such tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills,
  • Knowledge of MS Office, MS Word, MS Excel
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with data collection and knowledge of M&E tools.
  • Can speak and write Urdu

PREFERENCE:

  • Local languages i.e. Pushto
  • Knowledge and previous experience of working in project area
