Leadership
Field Officer
· Design and developed training manual on early childhood education.
· Capacity building of ECED teachers on ECED Manual.
· Coordination with training institutions such as PITE, RITE, for conduction of training in the field level
· Prepare TNAs tools for ECED need identification
· In close coordination with Sr. Field Officer/ Sr. Manager and other colleagues conducts trainings accordingly.
· Manages to solve conflicts and resolve issues at field level.
· Manages and supervises ECED teachers in accordance with the IRC HR Policies and Procedures including staff performance management, orientations, capacity building, staff induction and conflict resolution;
Management
- Establishment of Early Childhood Education classes.
- Selection of proper curricula in line with government policy.
- To organize ECED teacher trainings and to facilitate both trainers and trainees.
- Effective implementation at classroom level through ECED teachers.
- To Identify and respond to problems concerning education at the field site in co-ordination with other organizations.
- To ensure delivery and receipt of any goods to the site in a timely manner with adequate documentation.
- To provide daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to the Sr. Field officer.
- To Assist Sr. Field officer in implementation of managerial as well as administrative tasks as required.
- To facilitate activities with the students in schools on daily, weekly and monthly basis.
- To perform any program related task as assigned by the supervisor.
Representation
· Represent ECED classes in school progress and updates on daily, weekly and monthly basis to her immediate supervisor.
· Represent her school at camp coordination meetings and other important events in the camp.
Skills
Fluency in English Language skills both verbal and written, with experience of working in a multicultural environment.
Excellent team-building skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
Flexibility
Ability to resolve conflicts effectively
Expertise in Ms. Word and excel
Education:
Bachelor’s degree; preferably in Social Sciences or Development Studies.
Experience:
Minimum 2 years relevant experience preferably in Early Childhood Education.
Experience of coordination with government departments for the effective implementation of projects.
Experience in large and complex organizations.
Gender:
Female
Desirable Criteria:
Fluency in local languages
Working experience with national as well as international NGOs.
