Job Description:

Complete a comprehensive training to ensure full comprehension of IRC rules and regulations, security protocols and IVAP field Standard Operating Procedures

Participate/lead trainings regarding correct usage of the Personal Data Assistant (PDA), as well as the objectives and importance of the assessment

Travel daily with your assessment team to pre-identified locations with high concentrations of IDPs

Visit door to door with IDP families to conduct the IVAP household survey using a PDA

Correctly enter all data required from each household showing no partiality

Verify the completion of data collection at the end of each household interview

Conduct oneself with respect in all work with IRC, treating all persons(particularly IDPs and other team members) with dignity and professionalism

Follow IRCs security protocol and IVAP standard operating procedures at all times

Take direction from Team Leaders, completing all tasks required

Upload collected household data daily

Team Management

Act as the security focal point for your team while in the field by immediately informing your supervisor and the IVAP coordinator of any security incident/concerns and ensuring all of your team members are appropriately briefed on security concerns and are following security protocols

Identify capacities within your team which need reinforcement, recommend appropriate trainings or management modifications to the Senior Team Leader

Settle any conflicts amongst your team members; make recommendations to the Senior Team Leader when needed

Facilitate a weekly meeting with your team to address survey, security, operational and other work concerns

Coordinate the work of your team in the field, assigning survey partners, division of households, etc

Verify the completion of collected data from all team members on a daily basis

By end of the day on Thursday, submit to your Senior Team Leader the total number of households surveyed by your team for the week, their locations, remaining estimated caseload, and suggestions for the next weeks survey.

Track and approve the leave time of your team members according to IRC policy

Complete the PMP system with each member of your team, with mid-term review after 3 months

Act as the focal point for logistics in the field, ensuring transport,fuel, communications, accommodation and meals are appropriately planned and executed
