IRC has been working in Pakistan for over 30 years, and manages & delivers large, complex programs to meet needs in health, education, protection, environmental health and livelihoods for displaced, poor & conflict-affected communities. IRC works in partnership with local government and non-governmental organizations and currently works in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Sindh provinces.

Job Overview/Summary:

  • The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer under the supervision of the M&E Manager will be responsible for monitoring the implementation of projects. He/she will also be responsible to ensure program is implemented in line with IRC policies, donor regulations and best practices thus achieving the program goals and objectives

Major Responsibilities:

  • Under the guidance of the M&E Manager, M&E Officer works with the program team to collect store, manage and disseminate data and prepare and complete monthly monitoring forms on- time and accurately
  • Development/ improvement of the data/information management tools including reporting formats and database for overall assessment of the respective sectors
  • Assist program team with donor reporting
  • Collect case studies and stories
  • Monitor the beneficiary targeting, trainings, cash distributions and other events
  • Assist in preparing periodical program updates/reports
  • Carry out regular onsite monitoring of projects as directed by M&E Manager, District Managers and Technical Coordinators and provide on spot necessary guidance;
  • Maintain & monitor financial records and ensure IRC policies and donor regulations are adhered to.
  • Keep track of all projects to ensure timely completion
  • Maintain proper filing system of monitoring and data related documents.
  • Carry out such other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Participate in relevant trainings as and when required
