We are sourcing candidates for the role of Supply Chain Manager for one of our new projects. Please note this role is contingent to funding approval which we expect to be granted by November 2015.

Responsibilities:

· Facilitate, and coordinate with, the national, provincial and district health authorities to implement the health project in accordance with Provincial Health Program guidelines at the District/ sub-district level.

· Develop detailed implementation plans for district and sub-district level implementation of the project.

· Provide technical oversight and facilitate the Hospital Managers as well as the Cluster Manager of project for supervision, monitoring and evaluation of the functioning of the activities within the region.

· Facilitate and support the district technical staff and ensure uniformity in the technical approach to the Health program, specifically diagnosis, treatment and recording and reporting systems.

· Interpret and take appropriate actions on monthly and quarterly reports submitted by District team, provide feedback and consolidate data into quarterly and annual reports and submission to Health Program Coordinator.

· Report, Manage, review and feedback, not later than the first month of next quarter.

· Carry out regular supervision and monitoring & evaluation of the project strategies/ activities.

· Ensures quality health services delivery and smooth running of the district health facilities. Ensure out of the box approaches for strengthening of health services and health education.

· Engage in dialogue with DCO EDOH, Health care providers of all cadres to improve the system and services in the light of the records and information gathered.

· Ensure supply chain management for the rationalized and standardized procurement and timely distribution of medicines/equipment/material/supplies. Also take care of the proper record management of all assets and timely maintenance within facility premises. Coordinate with the district laboratories within the region to ensure proper supervision, and carrying out of quality control activities.

· Coordinate with NGOs, CBOs and agencies working within respective districts and establish coalition of these organizations in the district.

· Conduct him/her self professionally and personally in such a manner so as to bring credit to IRC and in no way jeopardise its humanitarian efforts.

· Effective at conflict management within staff and between staff and management.

Skills

Strong interpersonal skills to build report with the public sector
Strong writing and communication skills; excellent command of computer skills.
Fluency in English, Urdu and local languages is a must.
