Job Description:

Supervise, Monitor and report all aspects of Reproductive Health Services including long term and permanent methods of Family Planning and Post Abortion Care services provision in IRC’s supported 24/7 Health Facilities in District Nowshera. Not only FP-PAC are sensitive but also getting results on FP are challenging and needs command over the RH domain with wide experience and exposure working in such projects with national and international agencies/organizations in difficult terrains. He/she will be responsible for providing technical advice and support to facility based IRC staff on RH issues and liaises with the entire relevant stakeholder for smooth implementation of IRC’s activities.

Managerial & Technical

Monitoring and supervision of IRC supported 24/7 Health Facilities in terms of RH activities.

Implementation of Reproductive Health Services including long term and permanent methods of Family Planning and Post Abortion Care services in IRC supported 24/7 health facilities.

Ensure that Post Abortion Care services are being provided to every patient presenting with Post Abortion symptoms in IRC supported 24/7 facilities through trained staff in intervention District.

Ensure that Family Planning services especially long term and permanent methods are provided to every client presenting in IRC supported 24/7 facilities through trained staff in intervention District.

Preparation and submission of activities reports (weekly, monthly and quarterly)

Aware of and Ensure global standards (Sphere, HAP-I) are being maintained

Liaison & Coordination

Represent IRC FP-PACE program in liaison with DoH, PPHI and other stakeholders in District Nowshera

Coordinate with community elders through community mobilization team to inform and emphasize on 24/7 services provided by IRC in supported facilities.

Identify appropriate networks and coalition for 24/7 FP-PAC services

Liaise with other sectors (Protection, Education, Environmental Health) to ensure multi-sector approach to FP-PACE

Skills:

  • Strong RH background especially FP & PAC.
  • Develop and implement work plans in emergency and long term settings.
  • Strong inter-personal communication and coordination skills.
  • Result based demonstrable capacity.
  • Monitoring and evaluation skills
  • Working in challenging atmosphere.
  • Critical analysis skills.

PREFERENCE:

Work experience with International NGOs or similar setup.
