- Responsible all tax matters for the JBL group companies.
- Complete the required tax reporting in a timely manner for JBL group.
- Prepare and update tax provision schedules.
- Update the company sales tax database as tax rates change.
- Coordinate audits by various taxation authorities.
- Research and correct process errors that caused incorrect tax filings.
- Negotiate with tax authorities over tax payment issues.
- Research the basis for tax positions to be taken.
- Advise management regarding the tax impact of corporate strategies.
- Advise management on the impact of new laws on tax liabilities.
- Coordinate outsourced tax preparation work.
- Identify tax savings in prospective acquisition scenarios.
- Perform special assignments and tasks assigned by the management and ensure efficient completion of tasks.
- Adhere to practice company core values, policies, and procedures to create a productive, organized, clean and safe work environment.
- Any other work assigned from time to time.
Skills Required:
- 3-5 years of experience preferably in Financial Taxation deptt for respective position in Tax function.
- Effective Computer skills, particularly MS Office (knowledge of ERP would be additional advantage).
- Analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills, result-oriented approach with multi-tasking ability. Must be able to work under pressures and perform independently.
