This an HR & Admin Manager position. Only candidates whose CV displays the capabilities mentioned below will be shortlisted and called for an interview.

  • Ensure that the affairs of Sindh Employees Social Security and Employees Old Age Benefit are in order that includes record keeping of all appointment letters, issuing cards of workers and ensuring monthly contribution is only paid of workers and managers currently on the payroll of Jan Textile Mills.
  • Updating of Job Descriptions and Organogram so that the management and workers are clear regarding their responsibilities so that any disciplinary issue due to negligence or apathy can be dealt with
  • Payroll based on performance by the workers will also need to be analysed and understood so that compensation is according to their output and the system is fair and consistent for all employees
  • An HR policy manual will also need to be formulated by and a deadline for this needs to be communicated at the close of the first week as to when it will be finalised and rolled out to all employees. The communication and signing off the Policy will also be the responsibility of the HR & Admin Manager to ensure all is understood by employees and there is no ambiguity with regards to the application and implementation of the policy. Special emphasis is to be placed on punctuality, leaves, employee conduct and behaviour, any damages to the firm due to negligence of the employee, and also the payment of compensation in case of injury, death or resignation from the firm
  • The employee manual should also state minimum and maximum age of workers, basic requirement of providing copies of identity documents and verification of place of residence and next of kins and their references.The candidate will need to verify all the necessary documents and ensure the requirements are as per law and prevailing industry practise
  • The candidate will also assist in the identification and hiring of HR and Admin Assistant Manager to ensure continuity off all policies and procedures.
  • The candidate will also assist in the identification and hiring of technical personnel for Jan Textile Mills who will be front line managers for production staff. These individuals will have the ultimate responsibility of delivering results as per targets set and revised by the management of Jan Textile Mills

HR operations:

1. JD formulation for all positions.2. Employee hardcopy documentation completion and ongoing updating3. Digitization of employee hard copies into our web based HRIS system4. Understanding and implementing the automated Employee attendance system and deploying thumb/fingers imprint attendance machines in all locations for easy automated record.5. Appointment letters/confirmation letters/warning letters/employee cards6. Leave record/probation record/EOBI processing/employee tax deduction Payroll processing

1.Bank account opening for fast salary processing- To be completed in next 2 months 2. Payroll finalization, every month, within 2 days of salary cut off3.Final Payroll information to be communicated to respective functional /location heads (These functional heads/location heads are to be assigned & approved by approving authority) 4. Salary to be transferred into employee accounts within 24 hours of receiving salary payroll.

Skills

Understanding and knowledge of Timetrax Attendance system
MS Office
Understanding of all relevant labor laws pertaining to factories
EOBI and SESSI understanding and procedures
Demonstrated ability of working in a firm to transform its HR function to a fully automated and compliant to relevant labor laws
