Spectra Engineering Solutions (Pvt.) Ltd. (SES) is a consultancy firm providing professional services in the field of civil & environmental engineering & is a leading training provider for various disciplines.

We have a vacancy for a graduate with excellent English language and data analysis skills. Your responsibilities include:

  • Research prospective prospects websites, download tenders, prepare request for proposal and conduct internet marketing campaigns.
  • Identify all new customer prospects through internet. Obtain/ identify full contact information including name, title address, phone, email address.
  • Identify new market segments, products and services.
  • Conduct a comprehensive analysis of each prospective customer, identifying all decision makers at corporate headquarter level and regional offices.
  • Carry out extensive internet research for prospective clients.
  • Understand request for proposal (RFP) and ability to draft a proposal in response to RFP if required. Also incumbent should possess good report writing skills.
  • Be able to write effective, professional e-mails and other forms of written business communications.
  • Handle social media marketing activities such as posting to Twitter and Facebook and running viral social media marketing campaigns.
  • Conduct research in obtaining factual information and authentic detail of other training providers and consulting firms, NGOs etc.
  • Prepare annual estimates of expenditure, maintain budgetary and make recommendations to management.
  • Review and answer correspondence.
  • Manage incoming customer calls and record keeping.
  • Data Entry work. Maintain prospects database, remove junk, and add new prospects.

EDUCATION

Master’s degree in social sciences, law, English, Education or mass communication.

EXPERIENCE

  • It is desirable for a candidate to have 5 years progressive work experience in areas of information management and communications.
  • Knowledge and professional experience in NGOs, consulting firms is admirable. Knowledge of sustainable development, environment & socio- economic work is desired.
  • Excellent analytic skills and a proven capacity to turn research material into well written, concise English-language reports.
  • Capacity to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Good management skills and the capacity to lead a small research team.

LANGUAGE

Excellent English speaking and writing skills; working knowledge of any foreign language is an asset.

  • Strong background and substantial experience in information management, particularly in writing for the web.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain effective partnerships and working relations with people in a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic environment with sensitivity and respect for diversity.

  • Must possess strong proven time management and organizational skills.

b) Client Orientation - Ability to identify and analyse clients' needs and develop appropriate technology to meet business requirements.

c) Communications - Strong communication (spoken and written) skills, including the ability to advise and train users in the use of complex information management systems and related matters and effectively prepare specifications and other written reports documentation in a clear, concise style.

e) Technical - Must have demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Must demonstrate competency in the navigation of the Internet and online applications.

HOURS AND ENVIRONMENT

You will work from 9am to 5.0 pm, Monday to Saturday.
