The SEO Analyst role:
- Contribute to the creation and management of measurement, reporting and testing tools
- Proactively maintain SEO fundamentals: XML sitemaps, robots.txt files, meta descriptions & title tags, Google Webmaster Tools audits
- Conduct ongoing content, keyword, and URL audits to improve user and search engine relevancy of product pages
- Work with Analytics team to deep-dive into ranking and traffic data - report on weekly performance updates and discover areas of opportunities to develop into future plans
- Conduct measurement and analysis on the effectiveness and efficiency of projects
Skills
Previous experience in SEO and/or data analysis, either in-house or at an agency/consultancy
Experience of using BigQuery, or other SQL based tools
Bachelor's Degree required, ideally in Mathematics, Computer Science or Software Engineering
Working knowledge of natural search best practices
Experience of making successful on-page and off-page SEO optimizations
Understanding of HTML, CSS and code structure including XML sitemap submissions, internal linking and keyword generation
Analytically driven, including experience with Google Analytics & Google Webmaster Tools
Familiar with content marketing & social media and its related impact on SEO
Strong project management and inter-departmental coordination skills
Experience of Copyscape Premium API is an advantage
