The CLTS-Officer shall be responsible for:
I. Program management and evaluation:
a. To develop work plan, monitoring and evaluation on hygiene promotion activities according to CLTS approach.
b. To facilitate CLTS steps in all communities:
c. To monitor the process of social mobilization and behaviour change communication process, the use of BCC materials and the response from community and government.
II. Representation:
a. Develop, maintain and enhance ACTED relationships to local government officials for advocacy of sanitation policy and conduct combine visits. Share progress reports with local government/TMA officials.
b. Disburse IEC material to local government offices and ensure proper display
Capacity building of local government officials/TMA officials on CLTS and sanitation policy
III. Advocacy and Communication:
a. Inform any outbreaks diseases in order to conduct necessary actions for mitigation in coordination with Health, WASH and other teams.
b. To raise stakeholders awareness on the importance of Pakistan Sanitation Policy in coordination with Advocacy and WASH.
c. To contribute to stakeholder capacity building in participatory approach of Community-Led Total Sanitation (CLTS)
IV. Management Leadership:
To assist WASH Project Manager in program updates on CLTS activities, events and TMA/local government liaising reports
V. Spiritual Leadership:
a. Exhibit spiritual maturity, integrity and a dynamic personal sense of life calling
b. Admonish staff when correction is required
c. Attend and participate in spiritual nurture meetings
d. Any other tasks assign by supervisor.
