| Job Description: |
|
- Analyzes, business processes and transactions data to draw refined information that provides insight and value-added information to decision makers and key stakeholders
- Facilitates in defining and establishing quantitative measures and metrics relevant to the key performance areas of the business
- Performs statistical analyses to identify key variables, clusters and classes of data, relationships between data elements, discover patterns and trends etc.
- Develops/Applies advanced statistical techniques and algorithms to develop predictive, probabilistic and forecasting models based on historic data
- Reviews and refines input processes to ensure that all desirable elements of data are captured by the system
- Applies statistical process control techniques to establish process parameters including control limits, and thresholds, and facilitates in establishing mechanisms for effective monitoring and control of business processes, enhancing process visibility and responsiveness for the management, customers and other stakeholders
- Reviews and analyzes data to establish performance benchmarks and evaluates business processes against previously established benchmarks
- Designs or facilitates in designing reports that present insightful information to decision makers based on their specific context and business needs, aimed at enhancing efficiency, effectiveness and reliability of the decision making process
- Applies hypothesis testing and the scientific method to systematically study business problems and opportunities, identifying root cause and contributing factors, forming deeper understanding about the phenomenon and providing reliable answers to critical business questions
- Provides training to managers and teams on statistics, process control, and quantitative methods of analysis

| Skills Required: |

Masters degree in Statistics or Mathematical Sciences. Additional qualification in computing, systems analysis, or business studies would be considered a plus
3+ years in statistical research and data analysis preferably in a corporate environment
