Job Description:
1. To attend and solve all the calls forwarded by Help Desk.
2. To perform preventive maintenance for all sites that has been assigned.
3. To prepare cost and price for any new hardware and related software that needs to be quoted.
4. To ensure continuous availability of required spares in the store, in liaison with the storekeeper.
5. To have constant communication with vendors, so as to ensure second line support activities are provided by them to customer’s satisfaction.
6. To perform site surveys.
7. To monitor and ensure proper Installation of any applications / hardware, required by the client.
8. To maintain documentation and training material for support services
 
Skills Required:
 
- Skill in organizing data and technical information into a useful format.
- Skill in detecting, diagnosing and correcting computer hardware, software, and peripheral errors.
- Skill in responding to customer objections in a persuasive and productive manner.
- Skill in determining priorities and setting action plans.

- Demonstrated ability to work in a productive and congenial manner with customers and colleagues.

Knowledge

- Understands the business and personal needs of his customers; can recommend products and / or services to satisfy undefined customer needs.
- Knowledge of electronic and circuit theory; diagnostic testing procedures and techniques; and system and component architecture.
- 3 -4 years of experience in the maintenance of computer software
