Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

  1. Primarily responsible for eliciting, analyzing, elaborating and specifying software requirements including functional, quality, usability and other nonfunctional requirements
  2. Studies the business context for software and product development including the business, structure, relevant systems, stakeholders and circumstances leading to the software need
  3. Interacts with subject matter experts, customers and other requirements providers to elicit and clarify business requirements
  4. Captures project and product vision through interactions with subject matter experts and requirements providers
  5. Coordinates with requirements providers, Director Development and Project Manager to prioritize project deliverables
  6. Interacts with requirements providers, Project Manager, Software Architect(s) and Team Leads for analysis and elaboration of requirements to appropriate level of detail
  7. Develops external design specification and facilitates the Architect(s) and relevant Team Leads to further refine the specification
  8. Facilitates the project team in forming a common understanding of requirements and resolving conflicts on requirements
  9. Acts as an internal requirements provider, suggesting enhancements and improvements to products that provide competitive advantage to Innovative and its customers
  10. Develops requirements specifications and related artifacts
  11. Facilitates project team during impact analysis for software change requests
  12. Facilitates Software Architects, Quality Assurance and relevant stakeholder in requirements validation
  13. Participates in process definition and improvement efforts in coordination with Quality Engineering, for relevant process areas

Required Qualifications:

Education: A degree in computer science, IT or business administration
Experience: 5+ years in IT or software engineering with at least 2 year experience in business analysis
