Job Description:

Implementing the procurement of all goods and services for the plant, coordinate receipts, storage, security of materials and inventory.

Ensure that the inventory of parts and equipment is complete, accurate and comply with all purchasing directives

Responsible for administrative related matters in accordance with the policies, procedures of the organization and implementation of prevailing laws.

Issues all purchase orders for all materials and equipment for plant. Obtains quotations and receives bids for capital items.

Communicate with owner to ensure timely delivery.

Follow up on all purchase orders until received at site.

Receive all incoming consignment and verify that the quality and quantity is correct.

Maintain computer-based purchase order system.

Maintain vendor list.

Maintain inventory in accordance with company guidelines, policies and procedures, including updating of maintenance management system.

Issue spare parts and tools in response to the requisitions. Ensure proper adjustment of inventory. Initiate requisition for replenishment as required.

Perform routine inventory audit as directed by the Management and make recommendation to management on inventory level.

Maintain Stores in safe and orderly manner.

Ensure that credit is established and maintained with vendors.

Prepare and maintain stock register and statement as directed by finance.

Create reports as directed.

Maintain code of accounts and ensure correct coding of purchase orders and invoices.

Prepare all invoices and receiving reports for processing by accounting.

Assist in petty cash/ imp rest account management and purchases.

Verify accuracy of invoices and advise Power Plant Manager of discrepancies.

Analyze costs and make recommendations to Power Plant Manager for improvement of economic performance.

Liaise with various statutes/Govt. Agencies and Institutions.

Manage, Schedule and coordinate plant transportation system if any, and services.

Obtain and keep records of all essential permits and licenses as required by Contractor/s

Maintain attendance/leave records and all other records as required under various labor laws & statutes

Perform other tasks as assigned by Power Plant Manager

Ensure Good Housekeeping in office building & power plant.
