Job Description:

Leading FMCG group of companies in Saudi Arabia are looking for Marketing Manager.

Main Job Purpose & Objective: To effectively co-ordinate timely roll-out of identified mixes in the innovation funnel into the market. In the process, use in-depth knowledge of the consumer and market to create the closest opportunities for the brand to interact with consumers, and ensure that these are strongly aligned with the brand key, and ensure fit within the Category strategy.

Key Accountability: Consumer Insight 1. Synthesizing and sharing consumer learning 2. Generating inspiring consumer insights 3. Anticipating current and future consumer opportunities

Marketing Strategy 1. Analyzing market trends and growth drivers 2. Creating a vision of market and channel potential 3. Anticipating competitor actions 4. Constructing brand portfolio strategies 5. Building required marketing capabilities 6. Providing input into the business planning process

Active Marketing Learning 1. Seeking and applying marketing best practice 2. Analyzing and capturing learning 3. Promoting and communicating learning 4. Experimenting to create new knowledge

Brand Activation 1. Converting brand strategies into innovative activity plans 2. Developing close marketplace connections with consumers 3. Implementing consumer activation programs 4. Driving brand visibility and channel presence 5. Managing prices, profit margins and budgets 6. Monitoring market developments and brand performance

 
Skills Required:
 
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in Marketing in FMCG, in the Gulf market.

2. Excellent understanding of the FMCG market for the Middle East, with special emphasis to KSA market is essential.

3. Excellent Brand building capabilities on all fronts, including building, maintaining, and monitoring the marketing strategic fundamentals of products, pricing, placements, promotions, PR etc. is essential.

4. Proven record of building volume, market share and profit on established and new businesses, is required.

5. This position requires candidates to possess excellent linguistic ability in Arabic and English.

6. Experience in new product development / launch would be a distinct advantage.
