This position is responsible to efficiently handle all incoming and outgoing phone calls. Also responsible to handle visitors as per Standard operating procedure and provide them information & assistance. Maintain database of all important numbers. Keep record of phone calls and visitors.
Accountabilities / Deliverables
Receive call from employee, obtain phone number, connect other party and put the call through without any delay.
Receive incoming telephone calls, obtain caller's name and forward call to appropriate person or take message.
Welcome all visitors at the front desk, inform sponsoring person, record particulars of the visitor & issue visitor slip & tag and ensure its recollection when visitor returns.
Also responsible to provide information and assistance to the visitors and answer inquiries for the general public.
Maintain the record of all outstation calls in a register and verify the monthly telephone bills. Also maintain record of visitors in log book.
