- Monitor all parameters of engine and auxiliaries during operation.
- Assist shift engineer for operation and maintenance.
- Report to shift engineer in case of any abnormality.
- Take active part in trouble shooting and maintenance jobs during shift.
- Attend all engine room activities.
- Follow all safety regulations
- Carry out any other job assigned to him form time to time
