Job Description:

Summary of Responsibilities

Working within the Human Resource Department team, duties will include the processing of basic and advanced HR functions, to establish company’s significance both internally and externally resulting in achieving company’s overall objectives and goals.

Main Duties

- Oversee & implementations of the organization strategy and to ensure the staffing needs are met.
- Keep track of employee personal information, the benefits he/she has been provided and document it.
- Oversee the implementation of all necessary system and procedures to ensure that the recruitment and selection process operates effectively.
- Liaises with line departments to develop selection criteria, job descriptions, advertisement formats and to identify target markets for the recruitment of staff to meet the operational needs of the approved HR Plan.
- Assess, shortlist and, where all requirements are met, prepares potential candidates CVs for management and line department review and decision on inclusion in interview schedules.
- Coordinate with employees and concerned departments to ensure the smooth processing of payroll.
- Oversee all administrative arrangements relating to payroll.
- Provides line departments and management with regular updates on recruitment progress against the approved human resource plan. Analyzes recruitment results and makes recommendations for corrective action and process improvement.
- Carry out all necessary pre-employments checks to ensure that candidates are appropriately qualified for jobs being filled and prepare all documentation relating to offer finalization.
- Prepare detailed induction / orientation plan in consultation with the line managers.
- Conduct orientation for new employees.
- Looking after all insurance policies.
- Confirmation and Performance Management.
- Update headcount and organizational charts.
- Develop and maintain relationships with universities, colleges, and various institutes to source the best candidates as per Company requirements.
- Responsible for all internal and external advertisements, decide appropriate media for external advertisements and negotiate advertising space with selected media.
- Participate in the development and implementation of Human Resources Policies, Procedures and Forms (e.g. new promotions,transfers, re-designation, confirmation and terminations).

Personnel Specification

- 1-2 years of professional work experience in HR. Experience in related industry will be an added advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both in English & Urdu.
- A person with an innovative approach (Out-of-box thinking).
- Good planning and organizing skills.
- Ability to understand the directions and effectively translate the knowledge into solutions.
- To be familiar with HR functions and the ability to exercise them.
- Strict discipline in maintaining confidentiality of information in an open office environment.
- Positive and with a can do attitude.
- Must be a self-going and independent person with initiative, energy and flexibility.
