Primarily responsible for developing software architecture and design and providing technical solution to business problems · Facilitates in refinement of requirements in coordination with Business Analyst · Envisions technical solutions to meet business requirements · Enhances the efficiency and effectiveness of product development through good design practices · Devises strategies for component based development and code re-usability both within and across products · Generates ideas and strategies for product improvement · Identifies, proposes and facilitates in establishing software engineering best practices · Facilitates in identification, selection and adoption of tools, technologies, methodologies and processes for software development · Participates in process definition and improvement efforts in coordination with Quality Engineering
