Since 2004 he has been associated with the Banking Industry and the process of continuous improvement in deliverability of HR Services and Recruitment at UBL stands as testament to his dedication, commitment and leadership.

Topic:  Preparing for an Interview - The Key to Confidence

Rizwan Masood started his professional career with Jaffer Brothers where he worked in Finance, Business Development and Human Resources over a period of nine years. He has worked on several national and private projects of which a national interest project for NADRA (HR) is worthy of mention. The project comprised recruiting over 7500 employees in a little over one month's time, training the employees and smoothly handing over the resource pool to NADRA with minimal transitional delays.

Currently he is working as Head of Resourcing & Recruitment for Standard Chartered Bank where he has played an instrumental role in revamping the banks contractual staff hiring and management processes. He is also involved in developing a short and long term strategic management program to allow Standard Chartered Bank to plan their resourcing requirements in line with its expected growth for up to five years.

Imran has spent most of his fourteen year career in IT Sales and Business Development. However, he has a keen interest in HR as a function and as a discipline. As Strategic Relations Manager for Intel Corporation, Imran works with the stakeholders of the IT Industry. He facilitates transfer of knowledge, skills and enablement of SIs & ISVs.

He has also worked with Alcatel Telecom & TechAccess, where he headed HR for over four years. He has also taught the subject at University level. An avid volunteer, Imran likes to read and has been on the Board of PMI's Islamabad Chapter since its inception.

 
 

John Armbruster

John Armbruster currently manages TRG's call center operations. Prior to TRG, he worked at Align Technology as the Director of the Consumer Service Center. He was responsible for growing the facility from 30 customer service representatives to more than 150 employees in a business process service environment, implementing programs and metrics to ensure world-class service delivery. Prior to Align, Mr. Armbruster worked for Cendant Membership Services, focusing on opening and building call center departments in Houston, Montana and Oklahoma before moving to Connecticut as the Director of Customer Retention. Monis Rahman is the Chairman and CEO of Naseeb Networks, Inc., a Silicon Valley new media company with offshore development offices in Lahore and Amman.

Mr. Rahman has founded and run several companies ranging from Internet startups to chip design consultancies. He has raised venture capital for two Internet startups in Silicon Valley, and has nine patents to his credit.

Mr. Rahman started his career at Intel Corporation where he was a key member of Intel's microprocessor design team. He completed his undergraduate degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Wisconsin - Madison and did graduate work at Stanford University in Computer Architecture. He has been featured by numerous magazines and newspapers including CNN, InfoWorld, Red Herring, Infoweek, The Chicago Tribune, The Miami Herald, The Oakland Tribune, The San Francisco Chronicle, and Spider.

Bakhtiar Khawaja is a seasoned HR executive who is known for catalyzing culture change and transformation. With over 32 years of experience in human resources management, training, development and field banking, Mr. Khawaja has expertise in institutionalizing human resource policies and procedures for the benefit of host organizations and their stakeholders. He has a B.Sc. in economics from the London School of Economics and has earned an Executive MBA from Dr. Salman Shah's Lahore College of Business Administration. Mr. Khawaja was the founder president of the HR Forum at the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) and is the current president of the LUMS HR Management Forum in Karachi.

During his career, Mr. Khawaja has revamped Bank Alfalah's Internet and Intranet sites and serves as Editor-in-Chief of the bank's weekly electronic newsletter. He has conducted over 100 training programs of varying durations covering over 5000 participants. He has set up three international training and deveopment centers and two in Pakistan, providing quality multi-layered training to staff members. While in Hong Kong, Mr. Khawaja was an active council member of the Hong Kong Society for Training and Development.

Mr. Khawaja's career spans four continents including Asia, Africa, Europe and South America. He is fluent in Spanish, English and Urdu.
