Kashf Microfinance Bank Limited (KMBL) was established with a vision of providing equitable financial services, by offering a full range of financial services to low income households, micro and small entrepreneurs. The bank believes in a double bottom line: it focuses on not only making a financial profit but also a positive social impact through job creation and poverty alleviation. Since its establishment in October 2008, KMBL has reached out to approximately 60,000 borrowers through a network of 41 online branches and sales centers across 36 cities of Pakistan. The bank has disbursed over PKR 3 billion in loans since inception and helped create over 150,000 new jobs by allowing small entrepreneurs to grow their businesses. On the deposit side, the bank proudly offers a complete menu of deposit solutions for every segment of the market with over 160,000 depositors and a portfolio of PKR 1.6 billion.

KMBL core business objective is to serve both ends of its target market micro/small entrepreneurs on the borrowing side, and low to middle income households, individuals and institutions on the deposit side, through a full suite of products that have been tailored around the needs of each target segment, expanding into new areas including rural markets, and activating alternate distribution channels for the convenience and accessibility of its customers.
