| Job Description: |

- Related duties and as assigned. Skills- Master of Library and Information Science from a reputed University or BS in Information & Computer Science with 2-3 years of experience in an academic library, special library, IT center or Knowledge Center.
- Extensive knowledge and experience of an integrated library system (ILS), such as Koha, Millennium, Talis and Symphony.
- Experience with use of Web-based information services.
- Knowledge and understanding of new and emerging digital library technologies and knowledge management strategies.
- Knowledge and understanding of current issues and trends in electronic resource management in academic libraries.
- Knows the basic concepts, terminology, literature and issues related to the creation, evaluation and selection of specific items or collection of information.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English language, knowledge proficiency of Arabic will be an added advantage.
- Working knowledge of XML, SGML, TEI, EAD and HTML
