Job Description
- Facilitate work sessions with business clients and other stakeholders to gather business and process flow requirements. Assist in translating results into a Business and/or Technical Requirements Document.
- Analyze tests, report detections, and ensure appropriate follow up of reported issues (regressions and impacts)
- Maintain the test packages to ensure their efficiency and compatibility with the continuously evolving platforms
- Develop and continuously enhance test packages to increase coverage according to consultants’ and developers’ requirements and in accordance with clients’ needs and feedback as well as system evolution
- Provide analysis of data requirements. Identify data sources and requirements for data migrations, data conversion and data loads.
- Provide support for integrated systems testing and user acceptance testing
- Participate in the systems implementation process by developing test cases, performing testing
- Work with the team to resolve highly complex, multi-faceted problems to meet the needs of the Data Products, by applying financial and technological knowledge to the design of methodologies, models, and/or systems solutions. This includes conducting research and analysis, accurately and clearly defining user requirements and processes, and liaising with the users.
Functional Competencies:
1- 3 years experience as a System Analyst /QA Analyst /Financial Services Consultant
- An in-depth knowledge of financial and investment banking operations
- Front Office: Trade capture, pricing, portfolio management, risk management
- Middle Office: VaR, Collateral Management, Limits Management, Reporting
- Back Office: Confirmations, Payments, Settlement and Accounting
- SQL skills is a plus
- Experience of the financial software industry will be preferred
- In-depth understanding of manual software testing process
- Experience of automating financial services app is a plus
- Exhibits a solid understanding of business, data, process, analysis and modeling techniques
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Knowledgeable in the System Development Life Cycle and Test Methodology.
- Excellent problem solving skills, vision and innovative approach to computing based solutions and ability to convey these ideas.
- Must be reliable, pro-active, results-oriented, customer-focused and attentive to details.
- Experience in Sungard or OPICS/Misys would be considered
