Overall Mission Define operational steps, manpower, spares and other resources necessary achieve efficient and safe maintenance in line with technical standards. Manage and improve the use of management tools, procedures and methodologies for maintenance. MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES n Key Area: H&S Apply all the local safety rules: integrate safety into all operations for him/her and for the others. Include safety observations in his/her inspections, report gaps with standards and any dangerous situations. Define clearly the work order safety plan. Apply local regulations concerning lifting equipment and under pressure equipment. Implement Lafarge Codification n Key Area: Routine Planning Create comprehensive and complete job plans, including Safety instructions and detailed methodology to carry-out the jobs. Manage the priorities for Job Plans preparation. Estimate correctly the entire necessary spare parts to execute the jobs. Ensure on-time preparation taking into consideration Spare Parts delivery delays Define the required resources, skills, co-ordination and supervision. Define technical specifications of sub-contracted jobs, asking support of execution members if necessary Estimate time for work orders to optimize resources allocation for scheduling process Estimate costs for work orders incl. internal manpower, supplies, subcontracted works and specific tools Key Area: Routine Scheduling Propose weekly schedule of maintenance activities according to the availability of main equipment and WO ready to be executed. Distribute the weekly schedule when validated Follow up the yearly schedule of stoppages of main equipment n Key Area : Kiln Shutdown Planning Select all works for KSD Plan KSD works on-time Anticipate the preparation of job plans when spare parts delivery time is long Propose list of jobs to be subcontracted according the availability of internal resources Analyze technical part of bids with purchasing department, and participate to the selection of subcontractors Define the technical specifications for subcontracted activities Define the technical specifications for the purchase of non-stock items. Participate to the creation of the KSD schedule involving all plant departments Participate to the follow-up and regular update of the KSD schedule. Key Area :Material Management Manage / Optimize Spare Parts inventory Inform when all the necessary materials (all consumables, tools and spares) are available to execute the planned operations. Manage quality control when receiving specific spare parts. Participate to the budget creation: estimation of major operations and definition of routine activities costs per workshop Follow up of Budget/Actual on monthly basis Key Area : Information Management Manage general and specific technical documentation: available and up to-date. Update detailed job-plans for major (technically/financially) maintenance operations Take into account all feedback Key Area : Equipment Technical properties of materials used in cement industry Main equipment components basics: bearings, vBelts, couplings, gears� Read technical drawings and schematics & produce good quality sketches n Key Area : General Organize his activity to respect several deadlines dealing with short, medium and long term Report in a clear and concise way, even in emergency situations. Communicate effectively with all levels of the plant organization sharing orally or writing reports. Influences and convinces by presenting facts. Prioritize actions, takes decisions & propose improvements. Basics on problem solving methods and tools (Root Cause Failure/Risk Analysis) By being result driven, by proposing technical improvements and by taking into account work related experiences.
