• Achieving sales targets assigned for both the fuel & lubricants in the designated geographical area.
  • To anticipate market trends by complete and comprehensive Market Area survey of all the major markets in his/ her area of responsibility in order to identify trade pockets within the designated geographical unit.
  • To monitor, record and report the competitor’s activities/ development within the concerned geographical unit in order to anticipate their plans and also to safe guard the interest of the company within the trade area.
  • Job Holder to ensure a high degree of accuracy in volume forecasting keeping into consideration the market attributes, competitor positioning and plans and the overall future development plan for the trade pocket.
  • To keep updated information on new properties and infrastructure developments on continuous basis.
  • Development of Business Plans for each site in area of responsibility which should include proper management of Retail Outlets, on working capital & inventory management, product loss management, merchandising, indenting, payment terms, documentation, customer handling, supplier records, purchase records, local advertising, promotions, credit control, outlet profitability, staff recruitment etc.
  • To promote and monitor high standards of customer service, housekeeping, merchandising, and general operation at Retail Outlets.
  • To identify training needs for dealers and staff through Dealer Site Standard Inspection Report (DSIR) and customer feedback registers (CFR). Dealer Site Standard Inspection Report is essentially the vehicle of communication between the company and the dealer on all the business aspects therefore it should be filled by Area Executive at the time of their visits.
  • To inspect, monitor, and ensure proper use of company assets at Retail Outlets.
  • To 'maximize' the results from Non- Fueling Retail facilities (NFR), in terms of quality of execution of marketing programs and in terms of their performance at satisfying customers, maximizing sales and profitability for franchisee.
  • To advise & monitor dealers regarding observing product Quality & Quantity standards and to control unethical malpractices like Product Adulteration, Outside Purchases and Short Measuring at Retail Outlets.
  • To check on the compliance of safety regulations and procedures by the dealer and his staff at the station. Furthermore to contribute to the development of a proactive HSE culture by encouraging dealers to report incidents.
Job Requirements
  • MBA preferably in Marketing
  • Must have minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience with OMC.
  • Must possess sound Interpersonal skills, negotiation skills and convincing writing skills.
  • Extensive travelling required therefore must possess sufficient driving experience of cities, highways & tough terrains.
  • Staff/Dealer management & conflict resolution.
  • Self management skills, positive personality, emotional flexibility.
  • Should be able to work under pressure and meet target deadlines.
  • Must be proficient at Ms Office etc.
