Position Objective:

To provide assistance to management in a manner that will optimize and improve the company’s efficiency, help achieve the company’s mission and goals, and result in outstanding customer service. The Security Officer will maintain a positive attitude that promotes team work within the company and a favorable image of the company.

Responsibilities:

The Security Officer's responsibilities include supervision of administrative procedures, recordkeeping of company moveable / immoveable assets, supervision of services and maintenance department, IT department, stores department, renovations / new construction, training of security and custodian staff, logistic support to operations related to all school events and other duties as assigned by management.

1. Establish administrative procedures at all branch locations and assist in their implementation.

2. Visit each branch location regularly to monitor and improve administrative/security performance.

3. Coordinate all employee training programs in cooperation with department heads to ensure employee growth and development.

4. Assure that all programs are in compliance with rules and regulations set by the management.

5. Maintain equipment record, warranty cards and recommend replacement when necessary

6. Monitors the budget and directs corrective action procedures as necessary to help assure that budget goals are attained.

7. Ensure all Security personnel are trained and are kept upto date with trainings and policies

8. Ensure campus security heads are performing through inter coordination with all campuses.

9. Functions as an administrative link between departments.

10. Monitors internal cost control procedures in regards to security.

11. Monitors safety conditions and employees’ conformance with safety procedures; updates emergency plans and procedures and assures that effective training for these programs is conducted in all departments.

12. Assures that the school’s preventive maintenance and energy management programs are in use.

13. Participates in on-going facility inspections throughout the branches to assure that cleanliness, maintenance, safety and other standards are consistently attained.

14. May serve as a departmental manager in that manager’s absence.

15. Reviews all accidents and maintain records.

16. Inspect all campuses once a week and record all findings.

17. Advises general manager about the development and revision of company rules and policies

18. Assists in the planning of facility improvements, remodeling, construction and repair and interacts with applicable authorities for this purpose.

19. Works with department heads to plan professional development programs for applicable staff.

20. Ensures that all legal requirements are consistently followed.

21. Conducts training and other meetings with department staff.

22. Coordinate with all relevant department heads regarding any change or improvement suggestion in existing procedures.

23. Completes other assignments made by the general manager / director.
