Select, organize, train and motivate personnel, instilling a team concept in the achievement of department, division and company goals and objectives.

Ensure optimum operation efficiency through:

· Establishment and administration of an effective preventative maintenance program.

· Timely coordination and completion of daily mechanical maintenance activities and response to emergency maintenance situations.

· Timely and efficient organization and completion of major maintenance and capital projects.

· Assuring that maintenance schedules are met with work of high quality and accuracy.

Develop tracking mechanisms through the use of computer based software for the purpose of monitoring and reporting maintenance expenses, project analysis and capital tracking.

Responsible for installation, commissioning of multiple mechanical utility systems like HVAC, fire protection system, WTP, material handling system, process control instrumentation system etc.

Skills

The ideal incumbent should have technical background with managerial level experience in Engineering / process industry.
Candidate having sufficient exposure in operation and maintenance of coal handling system, transformers, HT/LT switch gear, various instrumentation systems
Knowledge of electrical electronics equipments for metal industry with HV and LV installation, control logic and maintenance.
Strong mechanical and process aptitude.
Ability to lead and participate in a multi-functional, team based environment.
Knowledge of applicable codes and regulations including working in a unionized environment.
Proven ability to build and lead a high performance technical team.
Previous computerized maintenance management systems experience and sound knowledge of SAP.
Should posses understanding of Safety regulations, Maintenance principles and Quality Assurance are required.
Demonstrated leadership skills, combined with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead effectively in a dynamic fast paced environment.
Ability to think broadly, takes initiatives, provide solutions and convert into action when faced with challenges.
