Job Description:
  • Enhancing communication and relationship developmentwith alumni;
  • Relationship building with students to make themconnected as alumni;
  • Planning and organizing networking events;
  • Making alumni networks self sustaining;
  • Structuring, planning and budgeting for fundraisingunit;
  • Development of promotional material to solicitscholarships, endowment funds, chair funds, etc;
  • Compiling database of prospective donors engage them,cultivate the relation, solicit support and stewardship;
  • Preparation of annual income budget;
  • Recording, monitoring and reporting financial progressduring the year;
  • Managing the grant/scholarship application process andensuring that reporting is tracked and meets donors expectations;
  • Processing direct mail responses, recording donations,acknowledging donations, answering queries and complaints;
  • Management and promotion of scholarship programmers fordonors;
  • Identifying potential opportunities to promote givingto LUMS;
  • Keeping staff in other functions within theorganization informed of fundraising activities;
  • Production of fundraising promotionalmaterials/newsletters as required;
  • Developing and managing website from fundraisingviewpoint and ensure its potential as a fundraising tool is maximized; and
  • Maximizing PR opportunities in relation to fundraising activities.
 
Skills Required:
 
- Proficient in MS Office;
- Strong leadership and management skills;
- Good qualitative, quantitative and analytical skills;
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills; and
- Self-motivated and organized.
