Main Responsibilities

  1. Manage Marketing Strategy
    • Assist the HoD to develop the LUMS Marketing Strategy for international markets
  2. Develop International Marketing Plans
    • Develop and implement marketing plans for target countries and markets
    • Conduct in-depth research to understand target markets and consumer. Apply the results to implement the marketing plan best customized to each market
    • Develop innovative campaigns for effective positioning and brand awareness in the international markets
    • Work closely with the Communications team to ensure that all communication is aligned with the communication/marketing strategy
    • Work closely with social media partners and key digital marketing players for an aggressive international digital marketing campaign
  3. Relationship Management
    • Build & manage relationships with key stakeholders in target markets:
      1. Print/Electronic media; PR agencies
      2. Schools/universities
      3. Education boards and ministries
      4. Embassies/foreign offices of target countries/regions
      5. Business sector in target countries
    • Relationship building with such visitors for effective marketing, communication and brand image, particularly overseas visitors
    • Planning & Budgeting
    • Assist the HoD to prepare international marketing budgets in line with the goals and action plan
    • **Other Responsibilities

    • Provide support to current and upcoming departmental activities and initiatives

Qualification:

Masters in Business Administration from a renowned institution

Experience:

3-5 years of experience; 3 years relevant experience is a preference

Knowledge:

Knowledge of marketing strategy, brand positioning, advertising, campaigns etc.

Abreast of the latest marketing tools and techniques and global trends in effective branding and brand positioning

Travel:

Required

Work Schedule:

International marketing is a demanding commitment; and add to these the time zone differences. Work schedules will extend into late hours or weekends, depending on work requirements
